Based on the novel Duvidha by Vijayden Detha, ''Paheli'' is as ugly as crow . No, it is horrible.Khaak Indian Culture?. In fact, it is worst movie I have ever seen in my life.Waste of resources for such pathetic storyline.Bhoot falling in love with woman....huh!!

. Fetching, quite irritating. Every frame looks horrible, and all the confluence of colours against the backdrop of undulating sand in the desert is pathetic. ?Amol katekar forgets there is something called story and visual.

Yes, try to solve this ''Paheli'' only if you want to see Shah Rukh in a moustache - he is not too bad though, not a patch on the mischievous guy who has made banter his trademark.

Amol Palekar hesitates in going fully mainstream, nor does he go wholly alternate—giving us an unsavoury mix of two widely different aesthetics. He should have either stuck to his brand of intimate cinema or given the film the emotional sweep and the larger-than-life drama its huge canvas demands.
