One of the first multiplexes in India, PVR at Saket in Delhi is a cinema hall where I have watched numerous movies. A great place to watch movies earlier, this multiplex has lost its sheen in the recent past.

First of all, the queue here is not managed properly. The ticket-counter is not managed properly here. You see people cutting the lines and the staff would just ignore that. Most of the seats have worn-out completely in the theater. The size of the screen at this multiplex is surprisingly small in comparison to the other multiplexes in the city. Most of the chairs here are not in great condition and you feel uncomfortable while you watch a movie.

As far as the picture quality is concerned, that too is a major issue here. You can sometimes see the pictures getting dull or way too bright due to over-exposure and under-exposure. The sound system is even worse. Sometimes, you cannot even hear the dialogues clearly as the sound gets disrupted by some screeching noise. I guess the sound here is not Dolby Digital either. During my visit last time here, the air-conditioning inside the theater was not working at all. It resulted in the feeling of being suffocated inside the theater. I had to abandon the movie and come out in interval.

The food here is way too expensive and the quality of the food is just about average. The crowd inside the hall is not managed properly. They usually stand-up during the movie and there is a constant commotion happening all through the movie. The staff should work on this aspect. Overall, the movie-viewing experience here is definitely not the best. The infrastructure is poor, the food-quality low and the interiors of the hall depreciating.
