Om Shanti Om! God please give shanti to all of us who came out of the theater after watching this nonstop "manmohan-desai wannabe"

So Farah Khan is gung-ho about the 70s, we got a slice of that in'Main hoon na' her earlier venture.  This time it seems she and Shahrukh together became so excited about the whole thing that they wanted to add "ye bhi.vo bhi.sab kuch" and ended up giving us a half-cooked confusing tale of two births.

I wanted to have fun while the 70s era was rolling, but just couldn't.  The song was good with sunil dutt, jeetandra etc dancing with Deepika Padukone but apart from that everything else was just "trying to be funny or very emotional" while not actually being.

Cut to second part.there was so much happening with multiple stars in one song, auditions of numerous girls for god knows which role, Shahruk doing an item song, one award ceremony again with stars, one ghost who only comes in the last scene, one lookalike practising tobe yesteryear's Shantipriya, Shahrukh meeting his previous birth's mom and friend.and ofcouse the main plot revenge with "Mukesh Mehra", which was actually taken in a hurry asif suddenly they got worried about the lenght of the movie.

To look at positive points, Deepika Padukone is very promising, Arjun Rampal has done a good job(looks cunning as the powerful producer). Shahrukh is like Shahrukh only.

Shreyas Talpade is wasted and Kirron Kher.no comments.

Ah! one advice, if you are going to watch it in a theater, please donot miss the beginning of the movie as you can see the original song from Karz "Om Shanti Om" on big screen.which is fantastic!
