I emailed a video clip via my Nokia 6275 CDMA cell phone, and it crashed.

This probably happened because the cell has a limitation in the size of a video clip that can be emailed.

But the user manual does not mention this caution.

The repair could not be done here in Pune where I stay.

It had to be sent 1000 miles away to Delhi.

I got it back after 15 days, but it came with a new problem.

My mike did not work properly, so my friends could not hear me clearly.

The phone was given back for repairs and again it had to be sent all the way to Delhi.

(Isn't Pune big enough for Nokia to set up repair facilities at Pune?)

It came back after another 15 days without any improvement, but Nokia claimed it was OK.

On persisting with Nokia they started giving some lame excuses about products

deteriorating with "improper use".

They refused to accept that it was their repair centre that subjected my cell to improper use.

Why can't such a major player gracefully accept problems created by(a) their poor design and(b) lack of proper repair procedures?

It is quite frustrating to deal with such arrogant giants.
