I am Manoj Koshy, Mayur Vihar Delhi. thanks for posting the your reviews, it was of great help as I was also looking for the best cdma avail. I recently bought Nokia 6275 from hot spot noida for Rs 9000. The phone is a relience phone though I have a tata connection. I had no other option. this phone is not avail in tata. I am researching on converting the phone and found that we can use Deigo 3.19 software to convert the phone to tata. Just for your ref

this is my first nokia phone and here is my user review about the phone. Now about the phone, Looks:- I like the look of the phone. elegent design, large display, big and easy to use keypad. Display:- Amazing display, good resolution. Best seen on nokia phones so far.

Camera:- 2MP, I have clicked a few pics. decent I would say. dint use video recording yet.

Speakers:- Poor, I was embaressed when I play an mp3 for my friends using the speakers.

MP3 player:- Disappointed. the player is not at user friendly. takes hell lot of time to load. and you cannot customise of make play lists. maybe we can but I could figure out how. I would like to disagree to earlier reviews of the phone being user friendly.

FM reciever:- Poor reception while travelling. the earphone volume is too low. you cant hear a thing if you are on the road or at a crowded place.

Performance:- I am surprised, if you open the music player you have to wait for atleast a minute for it to load.

Battery:- 24 to the max, I hardly spend 30 mins on the phone everyday. the phone heats up as if I have been talk for hours.  Poor.

So my verdict. If you want a expensive looking phone to replace your old cheap cdma phone and if you dont mind the above mentioned drawbacks.  and if you are ok with charging it everyday. Go for it. As far as I am concerned, I just want a smart looking phone, coz I felt uneasy about those black and white tata phones and the mono ring tone from my pocket when I am with my friends.. This phone look good. better reception. and mp3 ringtones and a good camera. works for me.

Please note:- the box doesnt have a data cable. Strange.
