One of the colors used in medimix soap CI 47000 may cause contact dermatitis as per Wikipedia.
The soap was making my skin dry, so I was searching for the ingredients and their effects on skin and came across the above information.
I have personally made hand made soaps by the cold process and hot process. No matter they say that there is no caustic soda left after saponification, somehow I feel it is still there to make your skin dry.
In spite of being a herbal soap, medimix is still made by the cold process method using caustic soda.
