Indian Romance Masala presents their new fast food package named Maine Dil Tujhko Diya (MDTD).

As this product is from the famous brand of Indian Romance Masala there is no need to mention that it is a highly nutritious product (as claimed by the manufacturers) which is rich in romance, social drama, religious traditions and above all emotions. But on usage the user feels that the claim made by the manufacturer is totally false and does not meet the expectation of the users.

The preparation of MDTD is very simple which even a school going kid who is familiar with Indian Romance Masala can prepare. The contents of this pack, MDTD, are as follows.

Ajay (Sohail Khan) is an orphan who is a student of City College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Mumbai (can any of the reader's tell me where is this Shitty College Oops! I mean City College situated at Mumbai). He is not only a student but also the leader of a team named AARYANS. The Aaryans are given the responsibility of Security of the college, they are provided with uniforms and Walkie-Talkie sets. Great to see such a college in Mumbai city giving so much importance to its Security, as far as Mumbai is concerned Security has become the need of the hour.

There is also a rival team named WARRIORS who are always shown as breaking the rules and regulations and they are the one who are always against AARYANS. I am confused why does a college require two teams one to break law and order and the other to maintain law and order.

Coming back to the story our leading lady Aayesha (Sameera Reddy) is the daughter of leading business tycoon Verma (Kabir Bedi). Verma gets her daughter admitted to City College where she comes across Ajay and it is love at first sight for an orphan and the daughter of a business tycoon. Now I think most of our readers would have guessed how this story proceeds.

Verma's business partner Chopra (Dalip Tahil) is interested to get his son married to Aayesha so that his son can become the leader of Verma Business Empire. As soon as Chopra comes to know that Aayesha is in love with Ajay he hires the underworld Bhaijaan (Sunjay Dutt) to eliminate Ajay. WOW! Sunjay Dutt has once again played his own character.

Bhaijaan comes to kill Ajay but the moment he is about to hit Ajay, Bhaijaan hears the Aazan (call for prayer) which stops him from killing Ajay. He tells Ajay being the month of Ramzaan that he will not attack Ajay till the moment he sees the moon on the day of Ramzaan. The day he sees the moon will be the last day for Ajay (See as a Director how cleverly Sohail Khan has used religious sentiments to save the actor Sohail Khan).

In the meanwhile Ajay is beaten black and blue by Bhaijaan’s henchmen Chottu (Sarfraz Khan) and Munna (Rajpal Yadav) and he is thrown on the highway. But his teammates find him and bring him back to the city. Ajay with his face covered with blood walks over to Aayesha's house and challenges Verma that he will marry his daughter within the next 24 hours. He just washes his face under the tap of Verma's bungalow and abracadabra all his wounds vanish except for few scar marks. Holy water discovered in the compound of Verma.

The next 24 hours witnesses many incidents, Ajay's preparation to face the wrath of Verma, Bhaijaan and his henchman. There Bhaijaan sees the moon and immediately on seeing the moon he proceeds to eliminate Ajay. Once again the moment he is about to kill him Ajay tells him ''Bhaijaan, Main ek Aashiq Hoon'' and hearing this line Bhaijaan spares him as this particular line reminds bhaijaan of his younger brother who too was a AASHIQ and who was killed at a very young age because of Bhaijaan.

From now Bhaijaan decides to support the Aashiq instead of killing him. In the process of supporting the aashiq bhaijaan has to kill his own henchman, as they are keen to eliminate Ajay. Finally after killing half a dozen people and injuring a dozen or so Ajay gets united with Aayesha within the stipulated time of 24 hours.

Is such a union at the cost of so many lives really worth? It’s for my readers to answer this question.

Performance none of the star cast has given worthwhile performance. During many scenes Sohail has tried to imitate his elder brother Salman. Sameera Reddy is not yet ready to be called an actress. Sunjay Dutt is simply wasted.

Except for the song Thoda sa Pyaar hua hai nothing great about the Music of Daboo Malik. The only plus point of this movie is the excellent Cinematography by Kabir Lal.
