Cinematography:

Ladies Tailor… as the title suggest is the story of the trials and ordeals of a lazy ladies tailor, Chander (Rajpal Yadav), who is told by an astrologer (Dinesh Hingo), that fortune would open its doors on him if he got married to a ‘padmini’ caste lass who has a birthmark on her right thigh.

The laugh a minute ordeal begins when three village bums Pyare (Krishna Bhatt), FTV (Manoj Pahva) and MTV (Razzak Khan) help Chander to find the girl and lead him to Jassi (Heena), Flora (Priti Bhutani) and Gayatri (Varsha Chaudhry). However poor Chander fails to find the prerequisite birthmark on any of them.

Meanwhile, Janardhan (Mukesh Rishi) who has the reputation off cutting of hands of eve teasers returns to the village having completed a sentence for the same offence. Chander who had acted fresh with the three girls, fears for life and slips out of the village in the dark of the night. However while fleeing, he chances upon the right thigh of a girl with the required birthmark in a window, only to discover later that it is the window of Janardhan’s house where resides a school teacher Radhika (Kim Sharma).

Rajpal Yadav as the main protagonist has beyond doubts a tailor-made character of the ladies tailor on his hand and has done full justice. He is successful in bringing the laughs with his histrionics. Krishna Bhatt, Manoj Pahva and Razzak Khan are in their elements. Heena, Priti Bhutani and Varsha Chaudhry spearhead the required sensuous glamour to this canvas. Kim Sharma provides both the glamour and love angle to this comedy. Mukesh Rishi towers as the main opposition.

The music is average, nothing to write about. Ladies Tailor film falls short for average cine watcher…however the appeal lies in its comedy. If comedy is your forte, this is a movie to watch.
