I finally bought a red Beamer on the eve of the Valentine's day. First Service is done & the bike has completed about 1000kms till date. I will give my detailed experience in a weeks time. But overall I feel that this bike deserves a lot more attention & respect. People go gaga while praising a Pulsar or a Unicorn, but this thoughtfully developed bike quietely performs its duties fabulously. Below is what I had written after taking a test ride. Do visit this place later to get a detailed review on the Beamer.

: I took a test ride of the LML Beamer a few days ago & since then I have been hooked on to her. I had tried the Graptor, she was good. Her engine was refined, gear shift was ultra-smooth, everything looked good. But there was no electric starter.

Plus the engine though responsive, preferred to be a relaxed performer. So, when I went to try the Beamer, I did not expect much of a change over the Graptor apart from the looks. I knew the engine now produced 13.9bhp, which is the highest in the class, plus a little more torque & the wheelbase had been expanded marginally. But the Beamer surprised me.

The power delivery was excellent, to say the least. Very eager and would encourage the rider to push her. Plus, this time I also tried to ride her in a higher gear at lower RPM, & let me tell you, she easily accelerated, without knocking, from 4th gear & a little below 2500rpm. That is good, because one faces so many instances where the bikes low end torque would help to take off without shifting to a lower gear. I was impressed with LML's fit & finish & the paint quality.

LML does some innovative engineering like the side-stand that locks the gear lever when pushed down. Also, it has a unique tank design. The actual tank starts about 5 cms below the outside cap. There is a gap between the cap and the inner tank surface which helps to keep rain water out & also helps in keeping the contents of the tank to stay cooler when the bike is parked in the sun.

This will eventually save a lot of petrol in the long run that gets wasted due to evaporation. Overall the bike seemed perfect. I am waiting for the new year, when I will be replacing my 14month old Kinetic GF170 Laser with the LML BEAMER.

I will give/update my views after one month of usage.
