If u r hungry and looking for some gud food quality & quantity wise thn u have come to the right place in dehradun… Kumar is a very renowned name for food and various mithais in the city. They have two restaurants -Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian.
I have eaten at many restaurants in d’dun but I can assure that standard of food served at kumar is really appreciable. I've tried many cuisines there the desi dal-makhani, paneer dishes, dosas etc… but I really luv the videshi preparations out there…..they r mouthwatering specially the Chinese fried rice, noodles and American chopsey.
The food is also cheap and worth spending…never looks heavy on ur wallet or credit card….the service staffs r also very matured and aged which shows their loyalty and also the work culture at kumar……
The ambience is gud but the decor is very conventional. Being a tourist place people from different backgrounds visit this place. Its also a stop over for people onway to mussorie. Its a favorite hangout place for conventional families and permanent residents of doon.location is ideal as it is located in the heart of the city on rajpur road adjacent to barista.
So if u r looking for some real pate-pooja thn must eat once there…
In the end I must say for Kumar - “UNGLIYAN CHAAT TE REH JAOGE”(desi version) or “FINGER LICKNING GOOD”(English version)…….
