It sure is easy to give comments but it's really very difficult to create anything worthwhile. My lil sister, who is into fast tracks & dance numbers, bullied me into buying this album 4 her & I certainly do not regret it. It's certainly a collection of variety- Its the time to disco makes U wanna get up & let Ur hair loose, Maahi Ve spells the time to put on traditional clothes & swirl & twirl a bit, Pretty Woman, a feeble copy of the title track of the Hollywood movie Pretty Woman is great for flirting & admiring someone U fancy, Kucch to hua hai makes U feel lite headed & in love with dat sum1 special who U may never have met till now, but r awaiting patiently (or impatiently). But my all time favorite is the title song in both versions(happy & sad) Kal Ho Na Ho sung so melodiously & soulfully by Sonu Nigam & Alka Yagnik. If U happen to be in low spirits, it may even fetch you a few tears which will ease away all Ur tensions.

Javed Akhtar has done wonders once again with each song, putting down feelings into simple words so easily comprehendable, if only U have the time to listen from the depths of Ur heart. Even the song which seems so unmeaningful Maahi Ve (of course, incomparable to Maahi Ve of Kaante), is a beautiful admiration of d Indian Bride & her response. It's the time to disco is a number making U dance thru life & enjoy each moment as it comes as U never know what or who tomorrow may bring into Ur life. Kucch to hua hai is d slow, sweet realization of being in love, not with just another person, but rather, with Urself & with life in its totality. Pretty Woman is a wonderful way of admiring & appreciating a Lady who seems to B so unaware of her own feminity. Cute! & the title song.... Aahhhh!

Har ghadi badal rahi hai roop zindagi,

Chhaw hai kabhi, kabhi hai dhoop zindagi;

Harr pal yaha jee bhar jiyo,

Jo hai samaa, Kal ho na ho....

(Life is changing all the time,

Sumtimes shade & sumtimes sunshine;

Live each moment to the fullest & glow,

for What season is today, tomorrow may not be so....)

My translation is not excellent but the message is clear & positive, spelling loudly that Life is Beautiful & what U have is Here & NOW! Reminds me of the song by Ronan Keating If tomorrow never comes. Honestly, I rate this album excellent & all d artists who r part of it deserve an applause. The music is also refreshing & the beats make Ur feet wanna go tippity tippity tap. Bravo! Good going!
