So everything was fine up until recently what happens was my internet stopped working so I contacted customer service then two engineers came (I don't know why they call them engineers, as they are no better than and even worse than Electrician also engineering is a profession there is a difference between profession and occupation ). One senior and another junior, as soon as they arrived the behaviour of junior was good (he was focused on his work) but the senior was acting as a over smart baffoon, so now about the wire the problem was in the portion of wire which was over my roof.


They searched the whole 100m wire and found no sign of tempering, burning or cutting, it was only after they cut portions of wire one by one they came to know which part was not working properly , the senior guy started telling me some one has streched the wire so you should be carefull (I'm not a forensic scientist but I know if there is fire there must be some smoke) as I told earlier there were no signs of anything like cutting stretching.


I think because the wire is placed in open, it must be cycle of day-night heat cold that had degraded the wire over time , so they cut the wire removed the broken part joined it by making a knot from the same fiber wire and told me this is your house tell everyone not to touch it so now the onus is on me, I can assure that the place was the fiber optics is placed on my roof no one ever even goes. The jugad, the senior engineer did made me think why are these guys called engineers, the jugad is dependent on a single pin like nail , at least use a better size nail there is no guaranty when the wire will fall.


Again I asked the senior, "Will this jugad can sustain the weather?" He told, "khana left hand se khao ya khana right hand se khao koi farak padta hai?"


Well, I didn't understand what he was implying with this. I don't expect that the work should be world class state of the art but it should sustain sun's heat and rain so I don't have to worry everytime about internet, after doing the work both of them left.


Next day, at 11 am the internet stopped working again, I called the junior engineer he told me to talk to the senior, I contacted the senior he told me I am on leave, I will send you someone else so I said ok, when is he coming? He said he will call you he is presently working somewhere else at this moment, (my work start at 11:30 am I work at an MNC and internet connection is very important for me), so I said to him my work is again going to be disturbed so why were you telling yesterday "khana left hand se khao ya right hand se" on which he said, "complaint kar de mere upar tu", so without wasting time I disconnected and did the same.


So now after another complaint, two new engineers came, these guys had other schemes in their mind after arrival started asking me, how much did this connection cost you? Who made the connection give me his number? I told him it was some Somyanshu named person on which he said he is the paperwork guy we want the number of the person who did the wiring, I said, "I don't have his number" (why would I save his number ? he is just a wire fixing person. Isn't there a customer service? Should I also save every delivery guy number ?)


They started searching for problems in the cable on my roof, everything was fine there like I told no one goes to that part of the roof so obviously everything should be fine. The problem was found near the point where the fiber optics is connected which is 100 metres away.


So after all this, I asked, "Will it happen again?" for which he replied, "I don't know the future". I also asked "What if it happens again?" He said, "You have to call customer service again".


This is the pathetic behaviour of Jio engineers. I even complaint on Twitter because government service problems related to railway and gas is sorted out very fast there, but can you imagine Jiocare didn't even replied, after 12 hours they asked me my number which I send after which I hear nothing from them.


So what do I learn from it:


1. Jio fiber thinks it's customer as cash cow.


2. Customer service engineers think of themselves no less than Mukesh Ambani.


3. Customer bhagawan ka roop hota hai is wrong fiber optics engineer bhagawan ka roop hai is right.


4. Your time has no value.
