This is absolutely pathetic!!!!


I as a customer am fed up with this. I don't understand how many times will the company change their statements!! More than 2 whole months have passed and there is not even an inch of shame or remorse from Jeeves or Flipkart for the worst service in the world. I shouldn't even refer to it as a service since I haven't received any!


The company is so faulty and fraud. It only wants to exploit the customer and take advantage. There is no code of conduct or management within the team! Every phonecall misleads the customer.


First, I wasted more than a month trying to reach the service center calling every no. available (most of which were out of service) raising complaints, writing emails, visiting the service center TWICE to be able to be heard. The customer service is absolutely irresponsible and lousy.


Then they made me suffer to get an engineer to pay a visit to inspect the damaged laptop. He came after 2 weeks. After more than a week the same engineer and Jeeves support team informed me that the laptop parts will be replaced and the company has approved for it which will take a week to process. I waited so long finally feeling a little relieved that I will be able to do my necessary work after all. However, to my disappointment Jeeves NEVER delivered what it claimed. I called the customer service hoping for some good news upon which they tell me that there was some "MISCOMMUNICATION WITHIN THE ORGANISATION" and that the parts are too expensive to be replaced.


More days pass by and the customer service lady calls me, not hearing my concerns, with an arrogant tone talks to me in such harsh manner and confuses me by offering a 50% refund then says 60% refund and after a long discussion and confirming with her seniors she finally settled on 55%??? How is this even in the company policy?


So they offered me a 55% refund on my laptop price and emailed me the breakdown of amount charged and the refund i.e 55% of 68, 719 = 37, 250 - 1000 (charges for God knows what) = Rs.36, 250. May I remind you that this is a loss for me as the laptop is worth Rs.68, 719!!! Nevertheless, I gave in feeling hopeless and being miserable seeing no way out and finally sent an email of my confirmation with bank details on 24th July'20 to get the refund.


On the morning of 27th July'20 the same lady contacted me and asked me (in the same harsh tone by the way) for reconfirmation which I gave and informed me that I'll have to submit the laptop (which is also not in mentioned in the terms and conditions)


In the evening, she called me again saying that there has been ANOTHER "MISHAP" from their side and that THEY are "SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE" and tells me that the amount that will be refunded is now 55% of 36, 186 i.e Rs.18, 902.


Is this a joke? What am I expected to do? Succumb to yet another shameless and desperate act by the company to exploit the consumer???????? I will not recommended this to anyone!
