Intex- the homegrown brand from India has been in the country for quite a while now. It is not into high-end segment of the Android smartphone industry but is quite the over-achiever when it comes to low-level entry phones like this one. With Cloud S9, the company has done it right with aggressive pricing and features that check all the boxes. Following are some key highlights of the phone-

  • MediaTek MT6737 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz

  • 5.5 inches of HD IPS LCD Display

  • Dual microSIM

  • 8MP Rear Camera with Dua- LED Flash

  • 5MP Front Camera

  • Enabled with 4G VoLTE

  • Bluetooth/FM Radio/Dual-band Wi-Fi

  • 3, 650mAh Battery

These are fairly respectable specs for a phone that is priced at Rs. 6, 299. It also supports OTG and comes with 2G BRAM/16GB ROM that can be further expandable up to 32GB. No phone at this budget comes with a selfie camera, but this one does! Under the hood, also lies a quad-core MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali T720 GPU for tackling all sorts of games. While this may not be an extensive gaming phone, multi-taskind and rest of the performance was smooth and fluid. Even the gameplay was responsive and without any lags when using low visual quality mode. Heating was under control. Also, please note that if you want to play Asphalt 8, then mind you it works better and much smoother in medium visual quality mode. Like I said, the handset is not really made for gaming but it sure can play games in lower graphic settings. Apart from that, performance was smooth and I faced no graphic or time lags. Following are the pros and cons of the device that you should take into account before buying it-

· Good looking handset with decent MediaTek powered performance

· VoLTE is an added advantage for secondary Reliance Jio SIM users

· Decent display and great battery life

· The rear panel feels really good in hands

· Underwhelming camera and weak loud speaker
