In bygone days, one used to get good basmati from dehradun or Punjab but then with changing times, it is not feasible.
Nowadays, one is totally dependent on choices offered by local market or shopping malls.
Nevertheless, India Gate Basmati is a good brand and is known for its flavor. Its aroma spreads fast and one does get impacted by it. There are many brands available to us particularly Lal Mahal and Daoba brand(a local) but one also prefers it.
One can enjoy it as lavish vegetable pulao or biryani and enjoy it with raita! One can also enjoy it with one's favorite dal - rajma, dal fry or paneer dish of your choice.
In our humble view, it is a good brand and one can have it all time.
Tip: Those who are rice consumers will certainly enjoy it!
