Useless bank.. poor staff... poor policies

I have few accounts in IDBI indirapuram branch. One day I was raoming around and saw this bank and discovered that there is no crowd and there was 0 balance accounts. I was surprised and happy and opened my account and then opened my wife's and baby account as well.

That was the day I started seeing the bank. Before that I had just visited SBI that too rarely.

The staff does not know anything. Branch is full of ladies and only office boys and branch head are males. On any request I have to visit one counter and then another counter and so on.

The biggest problem is IDBI's ATM and internet services. IDBI internet banking account gets locked automatically after some days of non usage. Then it needs an ATM card to generate password again. And most of times ATM card also gets locked out due to non usage.

This is a repeated exercise for me and my family now to give a signed application to get passwords. That too this branch ladies do not either submit the form and have to visit branch multiple times. 90% of times the network of this branch and sector 62 branch too is down. These are only two IDBI branches I have seen and both places this is dead.

One day the counter lady told me that she has got the password for my wife but I need to bring my wife to collect it. So I went home and bring my family. But then she said, she heard something else. Frustrating, I went to branch head. Branch head was supportive to staff. He said the clerk is out for lunch now and he will get back to me which never happened.

So again I headed to poor customer services. Which again went to deaf ears.

By mistake I opened PPF accounts in this branch. Nobody in branch and customer service knows how to close or transfer this PPF Account so I am again locked with this IDBI which I cant operate.

During demonetization this was the only bank which was free and staff of this branch was happy as there was no money anytime neither in bank nor in ATMs.

I will suggest people who are not regular users, please stay away from this bank. Even SBI people are working hard to manage their so many customer. But these are useless.

I am in process of closing all my accounts already.

Oh yes, they have charges for statements as well and they have already lost my PPF accounts. I might end up paying fine or lose my money someday.


Ticket number 005-577-342: IDBI customer care does not know about my PPF accounts which are opened on IDBI website itself. These accounts are lost.
