For the last 15 days, I have tried to effect an off market transfer of 3 shares from my wife, s demat account to my demat account at the ICICI Bank RT nagar branch office, P&T colony, Bangalore. AFter 10 days, finding that the off market transfers were yet to be done, I contacted my relationship manager who would not register the complaint. I then spoke to the customer service desk who put me on hold for 15 minutes and then gave me a service request number SR590782531 for my complaint with a commitment to complete the off market transfer in 1 day. Nothing happened for 4 days, so I called the Customer Service desk again and spoke to the supervisor. I was reassured that the complaint would be shortly resolved and the RT Nagar branch would call me by the afternoon to intimate me on the progress, Nothing Happened. I complained again and was told that a teleconference including me was being arranged with the RT Nagar branch at 3.30 pm . I am still waiting for the teleconference and the off market transfers are still to be effected. I would recommend clients and potential clients of ICICI Direct to shift their demat account. If you face a problem, you will be left unattended. Sriram, Bangalore
