I have purchased a Hyosung GT650R from Garware Motors, Mumbai dealer.I was one of their first customers in Mumbai.The bike looks fantastic and attracts a lot of visibility on our roads.A slight twist of the throttle and you are easily doing speeds over 150 kmph on the highways.But daily riding in city is a pain as the seating position is a lean forward position which puts a lot of pain on your wrist.Even a short ride can feel very tiring.The bike is heavy at 215 kgs but when your riding the bike at speeds it feels quite stable. The weight starts feeling heavy when you are doing slow speeds and you need to be extra careful while parking or making a U Turn as there chances of having a tip over with the bike.
Rusting is a prominent problem with the Hyosung bikes.My bike started rusting just two months purchasing it. The sound from the exhaust is Loud and has a deep Bass which is likeable. The seat height is 32 inch and riders of 5'6 height will have a problem of placing their foot firmly on the ground. The engine is not smooth and feels rough while riding.The clutch is heavy and will give your triceps a good workout.There is a loud Thud" sound while changing gears.
Overall a average bike.If quality could be improved and offered at a better price it would be worth.There is news that Triumph Daytona675 is coming at a price of 7 Lacs which would be worth purchasing.
