I wanted a slightly bigger looking but light weight bike whose fuel consumption values are one of the best. I am coming from 110CC so, 150 is the next milestone for me. It may not attain 100+ kmph but should be smooth between 50 to 70. Wider rear tyre from safety perspective, something the rider enjoys in any condition and not aged in its design/features.

My filters were pointing to Gixxer, Hornet, Pulsar 180, street150 and many more.

I don't know why but my brain allowed only Gixxer and Hornet(there are many logical reasons), then unfortunately the people in Suzuki showroom at Pune decided not to sell any vehicle.(really. I went 4 times with a cash buy option, nobody even talked! leave apart test ride)

And just opposite, the staff at both the Honda showrooms I visited was welcoming(even when they have double the number of customers any time). I was given the bike for test ride. and it blew up my mind. The bike looks BIG, it is lightweight to handle, it is Super-Smooth to drive. Some may prefer loud exhaust noise, but for me it was butter smooth - typical of Honda engines. I bought the bike in next 15 minutes.

When riding this bike, its first moto is to give you biking pleasure. the suspensions are good filters for medium to big unevenness on roads. Its riding position is neither aggressive nor commuter like. The fat tyres gives you the pleasure to take many of those turns faster which otherwise would be considered risky. The bike gives you more control. I voluntarily picked up non CBS version. I found the rear disk brake oil container and setup around there a bit flimsy. Also the rider likes to control more about the braking aspect(which tyre to load when during braking), CBS robs it from the rider. Although from safety point of view CBS will save you from maximum risky conditions without your knowledge.

The seat does not fit well. Without a seat cover it feels like a'Lakdi ka Patiya' fitting. All the models at the showroom had this problem - design issue. When you are riding the bike, the broad extension of the fuel tank hides some of those otherwise visible spots. For example you can't see leg-guard!

Like most of the honda two wheelers, this bike too does not have impressive headlight. The plastic cladding on fuel tank is really helpful in avoiding unnecessary scratches on fuel tank. Switch gears are smooth as well. They are not the same used on other honda two-wheelers Gear shifts are precise but not very smooth, probably because of the less running. I will update this review after completing 3 months.
