My old AC had lived its life and now I wanted to buy a new AC and a durable one this time.After thorough research, it came down to Daikin vs Ogeneral vs Hitachi.I was inclined to buying Hitachi and on top of that the shopkeeper also insisted on buying Hitachi(maybe because of profit margin), and so I bought this model.
The only thing that gave an edge for Hitachi was the double outlet, which is quiet useful in a Window AC since earlier one side of bed was hot, now both sides are cooled equally.Otherwise I would have went with the price, which was lower for Daikin.
It is quiet expensive, that is the only con I found in this AC.
It is 5 star AC so it actually saves electricity, so love this product, also now it consumes less current than previous AC and gives better cooling even though the earlier AC did not cool as much as this one.
