Our experience with this cab service was really horrible. It was a long weekend so we decided early morning ride to Lonavala starting from Mumbai on April 4th. Our intention was to reach there before sunrise and to witness the much admired beauty of Tiger point.

So we booked this cab around 11 PM on April 3rd, had a talk with driver too and he was clearly instructed to reach at IIT Bombay main gate latest by 3 AM. Few of our friends were waiting at Worli and BARC colony to be picked up successively. Anyways, the clock struck 2:50 AM and there was no call from the driver so after waiting for few minutes I called him and to my awe no one picked up the phone. Oh.damn phone.! It was ringing continuously and there was no response from the driver.

At around 3:15 AM one of us contacted GETMECAB customer care and the respondent was bold enough to excuse us by saying that driver may be driving. Okay.we accepted and kept trying to contact the driver. Around 3:23 AM, finally driver receives the call and asks for extra half an hour to reach outside IIT Bombay main gate. We ask him to hurry up and in between also discuss among ourselves about the further plan. Ten minutes later we call him again to know his current status but this time his response was thrilling.

As he told, he was actually waiting for the car keys and would take at least extra half an hour to reach at the starting point. He was actually asking us about the number of people to be travelling, which was already conveyed to him earlier. It really felt like being fool to rely on this cab service and without thinking about the further strategy we'd to cancel our plan.

A much awaited weekend was all spoiled because of poor service provided by GETMECAB. The customer care guy was narrated about the incident which he verified with the driver and after discussing the repayment of booking advance we concluded the chapter.

But there were many more surprises waiting for us in stores of GETMECAB. We received a call from their another executive next morning and he audaciously called cancelling of plan as our fault. He takes driver on the conference call where driver lost his all morality to say that he was actually waiting for us outside IIT Bombay main gate. Oh lord.where on earth I can get his voice records again to verify my claim. Anyway we clearly told the executive about the call details available with us and also about the record of talks with their customer care guy.

The executive was smart enough to offer us 50% repayment of our advance booking but we opted out of that. The second way of repayment was formally going through the procedure of complaint and sufficient details. We forwarded necessary records with detailed description of events on the same evening. Its been almost 5 days after that and even after a reminder mail, we've not received any reply from the cab service. They've no professional ethics or morality. They don't bother about the customer values. We strongly recommend not to use this cab service if you ever plan for an urgent and stress free trip.
