Miracas.com is fraud

This review is about my experience with the eComm site miracas.com which sells clothes and personal accessories. Like kaunsa.com, miracas.com is also a fraud site.


It traps the customers by quoting prices lesser than the market, puts "Just one left" tags, then takes your payment, puts irrelevant and obscure order status updates, will not be reachable and doesn't bother to reply you.


I ordered a bag online at miracas.com on 14th Sep. Immediately I got an auto-response from them saying that my payment is accepted and the delivery period is 7-10 days.


Next day they updated my order status as "Misc"(God knows what the customer should interpret from that).


Even after 4 days, as there was no update on the order, I called them at their only phone number: 022-30770240. Every time I get only one recorded message "All our reps are busy, please call back".


The surprising thing is, they don't put you in queue but they just ask you to call back and hang up. I tried this number many times, both at peak and off-peak hours.


Every time, I got the same answer and they hang up. My queries for order status at their web message center are also unanswered.


I posted the complaint on their Facebook page, but they promptly deleted it. There is no other means to contact them except that only phone number. I was totally at their mercy now.


I got annoyed and called the payment gateway EBS and asked them revert my payment.


They said they can't do it, but provided me with John Sreelaj's mobile No. 99230 and Miracas main office 020-65000650. The Pune number is also fraud as you can't reach it.


The only contact I have now, is his mobile number. I called him, he didn't answer my call but checked my truecaller profile.


Then, I'whatsapp'ed him to call me back and update on the status of my order. He then blocked me.


I called EBS now and warned them that if they don't refund I'll have to include them also in my consumer complaint against miracas, as they are abetting such scam sites by processing their payments. They then forwarded my complaint to miracas.


Within few minutes, I got a mail from this Sreelaj saying that my order will be dispatched in 7-12 days. The status was updated as "DTDC current"(I don't know what that means).


I replied saying that there's no tracking number, I don't trust you anymore to wait, just refund my money. Then next day they updated the status with the tracking number.


I finally got the delivery on 24th. I feel I got the product only because, I escalated my issue. Orelse, I wouldn't have been able to get in touch with them and lost my money.
