#Why?_

If you are interested for a memorable weekend trip please don't skip till you completely read this review.

A remote and unexplored pristine location full of greenery that will surely rejuvenate your energy, feel you relaxed and off course relief your daily tension.

#Things to do prior you start_Prior booking required as there is scarcity of accommodation.WBFDCL(West Bengal Forest Development Corporation) Resort is the only Govt. resort, located adjacent to Garpanchkot hills is the best option to stay. Room tariffs varies from Rs.1000 - 2500/- only, besides quality foods and excellent service with security not to mention. One private resort is also available with all modern facilities but that is very costly starting from Rs. 4500/- per cottage. If you have confirmed booking please be sure that you are in a position to switch off your cell(except emergency) once you reach there. Complete cut off from daily schedules suggested to be relaxed and explore.

#How?_*Check your car, fill it and start rolling through the best route. NH2 to Asansol, yeah take a break at Saktigarh and do taste Langcha and Kachuri as breakfast. Start early to cover approx 255kms till you reach. From Neyamatpur more take left towards Dishergarh(still ask for ECL HQ as landmark if you forget) and cross the bridge after Chinnamasta temple and go straight. Look at your mile meter and approx moving 15-16 kms from Neyamatpur more, take a right turn towards Garpanchkot.

Don't worry, if confused Google Aunty is there to solve it.*Train to Barakar and hire an auto to Garpanchkot, negotiate fare(15kms approx) .

#Places of interest_Panchet Dam - excellent for sunrise and sunset views(Separate review will be made for this soon).Baranti Lake - 30 mins drive, must visit site (Separate review will be made for this soon).Chinnamasta Maa Temple - you should be there to offer praying.Maithon Dam & Kalyaneswari Temple(30 mins drive).Local villages around including ruins of Krishna Temple.Love Trekking.try a short trek of 7.5kms through the uphill inside the forest to Garpanchkot Hills. 5 mins drive from Resort. Please note it is dangerous to be there trekking after 5pm.don't worry it's nothing concerned about people, it's about snakes, wild boars etc.

NB: there are certain reviews available where wrong conception has been reflected about localities. With due respect to all of them, I differ because I visit this place at least twice a year as I am a passionate biker, and has done night riding too. These villagers are simple, ready to help without vetted interest, trustworthy, besides being under privileged and poor. So plan and start rocking.
