Warm Wishes, Hi this is Ishlam Ali (9899100033) from Mehrauli Delhi. I would like to share my bitter experience while buying my brand new ( supposed to be ) Ford Fiesta..


Recently I thought of buying a car for myself. After comparing the various names available and the various models I settled for Ford Fiesta because of the mileage and pick up and above all the name " FORD". On 18/09/2008 I took delivery of my car Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zxi, deisel moon dust silver, from M/S Harpreet Motors Pvt Ltd, Shivaji Marg, Moti nagar , New Delhi. I was a delighted owner of brand new Fiesta. But my happiness lasted just for 4 days. On 22/09/2008 I noticed that one of the back doors of my new car is repainted one. I was shattered by the thought that I was fooled conveniently. Cost paid by me for this car was Rs.810000/-...


The story goes on like this. On 18th sept 2008 I went to Harpreet motors at 11AM to take deivery of my car. I was asked to wait and was told that the car has been taken out for test driving as is the custom before the customer takes delivery. I was made to wait till evening and at 7:55 PM the car landed at the show room. When I gave a glance, I noticed that the car already had Gear locks and antenna which was not supposed to be there in a new car. When asked I was told that a customer got these thing installed and finally he didn't take delivery. I was given a discount of 50% for these 2 accessories since I had not asked for it. Then I noticed the meter reading..Car had already run a distance of 95 kms.


The answer given to this was that this car has been arrived at this show room from another show room of theirs which is at a considerable distance and hence the reading. Finally at 8:15 PM I was given the delivery of the car. After reaching home I noticed that the bill had no Kilo meter reading recorded in it..I didnt give much heed to it since I was happy with the car. But on 22nd sept I noticed the repainted door and immediately contacetd Harpreet Motors on the same day. I was told that the matter will be taken up with Ford and a solution will be given to me once they hear from the company.


Now after the lapse of almost 28 to 30 days , even today my problem remains unattended. Every time I get the answer that the matter has been referred to Ford and they will get back to me once they get the answer from Ford. This is just horrifying ..how easily the customers are getting fooled by such dealers...and even the esteemed company like FORD has no concern for the customers and is not attending the complaint at all...


So I have learnt this lesson ..all that glitters is not gold...dont go for just looks and the name...


Hey you all who are reading this review be cautious if at all you want to deal with Ford...you will never know what you are getting for the heavy price you are paying..may be a car like the one I have got...
