Ford has updated the design of its new EcoSport to make it look more SUV-like. The most important change in the design of the new Ford Ecosport is a new window, its face and its dominance. Chrome up-up grill replaces the last split unit, which looks even stronger than ever.


Dual barrel headlamps with the Wild Flanking Integrated LED Daylight. Turn signals are now assembled with new lamps and sit under headlights. The gray skid plate is now fully integrated into the front bumper. The profile of the new EcoSport is unchanged, while the Wheel Arches hosts the big 17-inch Alloy Wheel in the Top Titanium+ Edition.


Apart from this, there are new revised grill railways. The rear design has a bumper again, and the button is now hidden from view to open the shirgate. The back door has 352 liters of boot space, which is 1, 178 liters below the rear seats. Here valuables can be kept comfortably. The height of the tray covering the hidden space can be adjusted.


Interior& Features


A change has been made in the interior of the new 2017 Ford Ecosport, though the All Black paint scheme has been maintained. The biggest change in the cabin is in the form of new freestanding infotainment performance.


The black leather seats stitched by Ford Ecosport, are more extensive with front seats and give better space while sitting. The driver can also lower his seats above the adjustment. The previous seats have not been opened till now, but now provide adequate support below and wide, however, the parlor is unchanged and it can be an issue for tall men.


The big 8-inch touchscreen is the third generation of the Ford Sync Setup. The interface is free and easy to use. The system supports Android Auto and Apple Corp. The instrumentation system connects to a 7-speaker audio system, which does not irritate the ear.


The new Ford Eco Sport front Facelift gives a camera for climate control which takes switchgear from Figo and top-space model(lower spec variant receiver sensor). Other facilities include a cooled glove box, keyless entry, engine start / off button and ambient light.


Safety


New EcoSport has been packed with many security features, including six airbags for top-space, ABS and Mountain help with EBD has also been started. Other safety features include tire pressure monitoring system, ISROX children's seat mount, and cruise control along with speed.


2017 Ford EcoSport Engine, Performance& Mileage


The most important change in Fabell 2017 Ford Ecosport is present under the emerged bonnet. A new three cylinder, 1.5 liter naturally changes the four-pot of aspirated engines. The new 1.5-liter engine, named'Dragon' by Ford, produces 121 bhp and 150 nm torque at 6, 500 rp at 4, 500 rpm.


The new dragon engine has been kept with five speed manual gearboxes and a new six-speed automatic gearbox which we had given. The new 6-speed auto gearbox has a torque converter unit, and it replaces the last dual clutch unit. New Petrol Auto Ford Eco sport is claiming to deliver 14.8 km per liter of mileage.


The new EcoSport's diesel engine is unchanged. It produces 1, 750-3, 250 rpm at 3, 750 RP and 2009 nm torque at 9750 rpm with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The engine is available with only 5 speed manual gearbox.


The new 1.5-liter dragon engine at New Ecosport only shows its three-cylinder nature. The engine responds smoothly to throttle input and reallocates at 6, 750 rpm. However, it feels slightly spread after 5, 000-5pm.


The new torque converter gearbox works very well, and downshifts are very fast, while the upshift is peculiar while using pedal shifts. Gearboxes were not even helped in moving to sports mode, although the engine responded rapidly, and its Egre Babberley provided a soundtrack.


Steering responds well to input, but is not as fast as before, and the position of the center is somewhat dramatic, especially in Ford. Suspension setup is still worse but the quality of the drive can be seen more.


The new Ford Eco sport works well on the turn and corners, though it rolls a bit. This small SUV is fine with a ground clearance of 200 mm. Those who are driving the existing SUVs on the streets of their city, they find it less.
