Moto G60 and lack of follow up.

I had ordered it during the sale, product was offered under exchange but my exchange wasn't accepted which was okay since it didn't fit the set parameters but the MOTO G60 that I had just purchased wasn't good either it was bent.


I shared this info immediately with customer service associate who wasn't able to help me as she couldn't see product delivered in their system and asked me to call after 24 hours.


I made a follow up call after 24 hours and was assured resolution call back in 24 hour which Of course didn't come, I made another call and was apologized but I was assured that issue will be resolved in 24-48 hours (15-may).


Issue remains same and no follow up done I again made a call on 15-May and they asked me to wait until day end but again no news.


I called on 16th May and as expected resolution date was changed again to 16-May-22 and I insisted to speak with supervisor who seemed okay and assured me solution he asked me to share pictures of the product and discription of the issue which I did promptly over the phone, he saw the images and confirmed the defect and assured resolution before day end and as you can imagine NO FOLLOW UP WAS DONE.


I called on 17th and history repeated itself I spoke with manager and same assurance but again no follow up.


I called again on 18th May but this time lady mentioned to me follow ups are made and will be resolved by day end 8pm I informed her about previous commitments ans failures to meet the commitments but she sounded over confident and again gave committed to resolve the issue by 8pm I insisted to speak with supervisor and I was placed on hold for 12 to 15 minutes and then they disconnected the call, I placed another request for call back and after approx 15 minutes got a call back, I request agent to connect me with manager and she refused to help me and asked to repeat whole dilemma which I did and then again I was placed on hold for 12-15 minutes and call was disconnected from then.


This whole thing is happening over a simple fix issue but I don't see a will Or intent to resolve this situation, honesty made flipkart what it is today but it's shame to see new policies or employees doing these things which could be sign of downfall...


Amazon may win the race..........


Update #21-May-22


I got notification that an agent will come to replace my Moto G60 tomorrow, I hope it's not going to be another fake promises like the one in past....
