Value for Money:

My son joined in FIITJEE Miyapur, Hyderabad in May 2019. He was given 90% fee waiver for 4 year integrated classroom training, still we ended up paying nearly 2 Lakhs just for 9th and 10th weekend classes alone. We prepared to pay this high fees just for weekend classes thinking their teaching by expert staff would create motivation, but this assumption is proved to be completely wrong in our case. My experience with this institution is that their study material is good but the teachers there are not good at all, they couldn't create inspiration by clearly explaining students who are otherwise bright but lack guidance. To give an example, they have a analytical reasoning class and in that the teacher circulates a sheet with a set of questions and simply sitting and asking student to do, when I asked the teacher she said there was nothing to teach, the questions there were very simple and even 6th or 7th grade students could do. This is kind of staff there. So they make the students sit in the class teaching nothing but making them do some boring stuff, is this what we paid lakhs of rupees for?

Another worst part, the classrooms are air conditioned and my son complains about constant foul smell and suffocation in the classrooms and other interiors of the building. No way they can get fresh air. They make four students sit in a single bench which can be very uncomfortable but decent enough only for three students to sit. He has that sickness feeling every weekend he attended the classes there.

Teaching staff - bad

Infrastructure - bad

Classroom discipline - bad

Students who have self drive and strong urge to succeed and motivated enough can only succeed in competitive exams like IIT-JEE, which institution they join doesn't really matter much, and these institutions have become completely business oriented, they are good at marketing and wooing students but not good in teaching.

My son now not at all wants to go to this institution and we have now no option but to get out of this institution.

Next time I would be looking for institutions with reasonable fee and with no marketing gimmicks.
