For those who are looking at starting your career with Extramarks Education assuming it to give a boost to your professional experience and adding a badge to your resume, you will be in for a surprise. Firstly I will highlight the inside scenario, then I will provide you a solution to escape it as well.

The number of unethical practices at a managerial level, which includes threatening employees with their jobs, deduction of half or more of your salary without prior intimation, business to a great degree, canceling your week offs irrespective of it being mentioned in your HR portal, extra work hours, unachievable targets set on purpose to give reasons for underperformance/ deducted salaries and fewer week-offs.

The escape is very simple. You have to be in the good books of your manager. For being in the good books, work won't be the criteria, it would be being in agreement with all their decision, be it right or wrong. If you are a favorite, underperformance won't be an issue. Neither will it lead to loss of pay, nor any action will be taken against you.

The worst thing you can do at this company is taking a stand for your rights, report the unethical practices to higher authorities, or demand for the leaves which are rightfully yours

Don't be mistaken that talking to HR would help, as the managers and HR go hand in hand to target employees they don't favor.

I have been illegally terminated, with no prior notice, warning mail, or proof.

Even after dropping multiple emails asking them for proof which is the right of any employee being terminated without inquiry, no replies have been made.

All I did to get this sudden letter was take a stand when some of our salaries were deducted while others got their full payment.

At this, we were stated that there were factors to judge our performance, which nobody in the department was aware of. For the first time factors were set, and the managers favored / special employees were about to lose their salaries due to inefficiency at work. In order to save them, I was terminated that too on mail stating that I had underperformed, well I can attach the documents where my performance is very much up to the mark and there are her favorites who have achieved 0 targets. Also stated that I misbehaved. For either, they still haven't produced any proof.

So basically, if you are sycophants, my friend this company is great for you.

And for the customer's don't ever trust them as they are never going to refund your money on time as they don't even reply to their employees
