We have been facing very slow internet from the time we moved to excitel broadband, and we actually had 75 MBPS plan, and we thought it was not enough and we upgraded it to 100 MBPS, but we are getting only 9 MBPS.

Day 1: I registered a complaint on My excitel app and it asked for 48 hours time

After 48 hours, problem is not solved

Day3: I spoke to Dinesh on the first day, He made me do all the settings and then finally he said it is an external problem, I will send a field technician today and he will resolve it

After 72 hours, No one came to my house. problem is not solved

Day4: I called again, and I spoke to Nikhil, He also asked information and he made me install Anydesk and he Ran a speed test and configures the internet properties, but he finally said that the problem cannot be solved over the phone, I will send a technician After 96 hours, No one came. problem is not solved

Day 5: I called and again Nikhil got connected, he said that he will recheck it, after putting me on hold for 10 minutes he said that he was revoked the complaint and compulsory by two hours the problem will be solved After 120 hours, No one came, the problem is not solved

Day 6: I called customer care and Mani Kumar took the call, I explained all the story from the start and he said he made some changes in settings and told me to check the speed again, Still no change, Then he spoke to the technician and told me that the service head stays very close to my house, He will rectify the problem in an hour After 144 hours, No one came. problem is not solved

Day 7: I called the customer care, Again Nikhil spoke, I told him no one ever came to my house, it's been one week So He again put me on a long hold and told me he requested the backend team multiple times but no one is responding, I have done my part. I asked him for a refund and he told me to give a complaint to this email. After 170 hours, No one came . problem is not solved

Day 8: I tried calling customer care today and it says the line is busy. I tried calling for 2 hours continuously, apparently, it seems like they have blocked the number After 200 hours, No one came. problem is not solved


We are working from home and due to poor connectivity, we are having trouble working. We raised the same issue previously also and we complained that Excitel Internet stops as soon as there is a power outage. We have purchased an inverter for the sake of working from home but it is useless without the Internet, we were told that a better will be fixed for backup but still that issue is not solved. We are facing internet issue every time t we have a Web meeting and the video keeps dropping,

All the while we thought the slow internet was because others were using the internet.

Today I wanted to know the reason for this problem and I disconnected the ethernet cable from the WiFi and connected it directly to my laptop and configured the PPPoE setup and did a speed test with the excitel server itself to my surprise I found that the speed is 9.8 MBPS. Our plan is 100 MBPS but excitel is providing only 9.8 MBPS, this is totally unacceptable from Excitel. We are into the media and if this is not rectified at the earliest we will publish it in the newspaper. We have been using Excitel for one year and we have been deprived of the actual plan for a year.
