We purchased the Aqua Guard Sensa in Oct 2011 with the promise of having the highest quality of drinking water possible.


The Unit however had issues, the body had gaps in it which allowed dozens of ants to make their home in it. Also, the main circuit board had a problem which caused the unit to time and again start flashing its lights and stop water output. Or all the 4 lights would come on and no water output.


Back in Dec 2011, we filed out initial complaint with Eureka Forbes. Subsequently, we had 3 engineer visits. One engineer concluded that the body needed to be replaced, while the other one concluded that the main circuit board would need to be replaced. However, the spares for this model are far from available and till date, the issues have not been resolved. Despite repeated calls to their main call center, 011-3988333 or the local Meerut service providers.


The Unit is still under warranty. I refiled a complain in June, the latest reference no is 87091771 But the answer is standard, we really apologise for the delay in rectification of the problem, it shall be rectified either today or within 24 hours.


But as usual. Nothing has happened. I have probably sent about 30 emails till now, and made over 2 dozen phone calls with no effect.


I will have no other option but to take time off and take these people to the consumer courts.


And I repeat, the unit is still under warranty, spares are not available and I'm demanding a replacement with a new unit.
