Hello everybody. I flew in Eithopian airlines to Lagos on a business trip via Adis. The experience was a terrible one while returning from Lagos. I checked at Lagos Airport in time and the flight was scheduled on it's correct time. We sat inside the aircraft and the plane came to tarmac for take-off. Suddenly the engines were switched off and the captain announced that we have a snag in airconditioning unit hence we are going back at the parking bay.
After 5 hrs some time we were informed that the problem is not with air conditioning but the engine and the aircraft would take off next day as the part has to be brought from Adis. All passengers were taken to a hotel, which was very shabby. Whereas the crew was taken into a 5 star hotel.
The next day morning we came at the airport and then we were again asked to wait at airport for another 12 hrs and the captain announced that the plane is not air worthy.
At this point I decided to cancel my tickets and flew from Lagos back to Mumbai on another airlines. Meanwhile I was shocked to see the rude behaviour of Ground and the Air staff of Ethopian. I strongly recommend not to fly this airlines.
