After buying a pair of Dr Ms for my work in a hospital, I was surprised that the shoes (after I had wore them in at home), tore through my socks and wore a patch of skin away from the top of my foot . I wrote to complain to Dr Martens. They said the shoes are fine and not designed to be worn for long periods like for work in a hospital. They have kept the shoes and not offered any apology or refund or replacement, but left me with a nice big scar to my foot.
If you work in the NHS, do not buy Dr Marten Shoes.
There are far better and cheaper ones in the market.
