Feb 10, 2016 08:57 AM 4063 Views

Plain facts about noodles are-

  1. These are in the fast food category and so are bad for colon and over the years use may cause colon cancer as these have little or very low fibre content. Fibre food is very much necessary for normal functioning of colon during our long life.

  2. Noodles contain a lot of preservatives for increasing shelf life of the product and most of these preservatives may cause additional health complications.

  3. Noodles also contain large number of chemicals, particularly mixed in the masala given for taste making, that may bring in tastes but may also be injurious to health in more than one ways

  4. Fast foods are like polluted air and should be avoided as much as possible.

  5. Price of noodles compared to its food values(fats, carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, calories etc) are far inferior to quantity of  milk or vegetables that can be purchased with the money spent on noodles and its preparations.

  6. In fact real life experience shows that a lot of additions are required to be made with the noodles in the form of small cut pieces of salads, tomato sauce, chutneys etc to make noodles tasty and edible and as such a huge cost is involved for making the preparation presentable and tasty.

  7. As such I recommend use of the noodles, atta or non atta, one very occassionaly
