The film surrounded with so many controversies is finally out.A lot of hype was created before it's release and it truly does live upto its expectations.the film includes a huge starcast....
The main players of the film are
1.Raj Malhotra(Salman khan)-Belongs to a rich industrialist family
2.Priya(Rani Mukherjee)-Belongs to a rich family as well and plays the role of raj's wife
3.Madhu(Preity Zinta)-Plays a role of a bad girl
the other charactors of the story involve the huge family of Raj
--Kailashnath Malhotra(Amrish Puri)-Plays Raj's grandfather who completely adores him
--Ranjit Malhotra(Dalip tahil)-Plays Raj's father,he is involved in work all times
--Asha malhotra(Farida Jalal)-Plays Raj's mother,very loving indeed
--Dr. Chopra(prem chopra)-trusted doc of the family
--Pappu(Johney lever)-is like a son to this family and can do anything with a cellular in his hand
The first half of the film is pretty mediocre,involves the wedding of Raj and Priya.....Lotsa fun and frolic in the whole family........till Priya has a miscarriage and the doctor tells Raj that she can never become a mother again.Enter Preity in the second half ,moves the story ahead........The end of the film is handled very well.the drama of the movie is pretty convincing.the movie has many glimpses of 'pretty woman' and 'hum aapke hain kaun'.
But the concept of a surrogate mother in India is pretty unimaginable but it is all handled very carefully with a lot of family values.The songs of the movie are its assets.Thanks to Anu Malik for a good job.The cinematography of the film is beautiful and is a swiss delight.
All the 3 performances are pretty good and not the usual stuff.We donot see Salman removing his shirt even once in the movie.Thats quite a relief!!But he's acted pretty well,more matured,and very classy.Preity and Rani have done good jobs and looked gorgeous throughout the movie.
All in all worth watching.
