Story:

I read this book when I was 12 years old. It is this book which agitated the feeling of reading books in me. It was gifted to me on my birthday by a friend who was a girl.

It's language is simple and it's more of a children's book.

It's a story of a young boy who grows a cherry tree in his garden.

Rakesh was heading towards his home, eating cherries and in a frank mood he pushed the seed in his grandfather's garden. His grandfather used to tell him stories and in return he would read newspaper for him as his eyesight was weak.

In springs he saw the upcoming of twig of the cherry plant.

After it grew 2 feet, it's leaves were eaten by a goat, still it regrow. Then the tree grew up to his chest.

He then went to his parents home in a village and when he returned after a few years, he found that the tree had grown full and the blossoms appeared. He asked what is so special about this tree. His grandfather replied that they grew it themselves. He then felt how it was to be like god.

It was the sweetest story which I have ever read.
