In 11th my techer tought me poem cherry tree which is written by Ruskin bond. He was awarded the 'padmashri' in 1999. I found this poem very interesting. The poem cherry tree is about the poet's ecstasy over a tree. The poet planted tree and that took eight years to grow. The poet wants to have his own tree. So he planted the tree. In this poem poet is expressing his wonder at the ways of nature and how cherry blossoms are fragile and quick to fall. I'll definitely recommend to read this poem at once.
