Worst Tour Operator for Europe and Unprofessionals

Dear Users, I like to highlight very poor services provided by Carnation Travel Services Pvt. Ltd. I travelled to Europe in June 2015 from 10th to 21st June through Carnation travel and it was a nightmare from the beginning.

All 35 guests along with my family had to go through lot of problems due to mismanagement and poor services by Carnation Travel.

  1. Tour bus provided to us was in very bad condition and we requested on very first day to management to replace our bus as we had to travel in same bus for next 10 days. Management took no action and bus brokedown on 3rd day of our tour while travelling from Paris to Geneva.

All 35 guests along with infants and senior citizens were stranded on road in midst of a jungle for 5 hours from 5 pm to 10 pm. We called SOS and police ourselves and were rescued by them at 10.30 pm. Next day in Geneva bus went for repair for 4 hours and we lost precious time again.

We called MD of Carnation Travel, Mr. Rajesh Sethi to book our tickets and send us back as all of us were so much harassed that we wanted to cancel our trip. However on assurances that no problems will be faced by us and extra care will be taken, we continued our tour.

Entire tour itinerary was changed in order to accomodate lost time and all guests went through lot of inconvenieces. Our trips to Geneva, Lucerne, Mt. Titlis and Venice were curtailed and we were given less time in order to compensate for loss of time due to breakdown of bus. We paid so much money for this 11 days trip but due to changed itinerary our entire tour was ruined.

  1. Bus was not changed even after first breakdown and it brokedown twice again causing problems to guests . On last day of our departure from Rome Hotel bus broke down at 8 am and we had our flight 11 am for Delhi. All guests panicked as tour guide left us before our departure and Italian driver asked us to manage on our own.

  2. Tour guide provided to us was very unprofessional. She arrived 60 minutes late to recieve us at Paris airport and left us two hours before our departure from Rome hotel. During the entire tour her behavior towards women and senior citizens was unacceptable.

  3. One of tour member who paid extra money to book child bed in all hotels was given bookings without child. Carnation management charged money from customer for extra bed for child but didnot provided assured services. On coming back all male members of our visited Carnation office to discuss our problems with Mr. Sethi  but he did not turned up. Carnation team did not reply to our mails sent on 14th and 17th of June, 2015. Mail was only acknowledged when we reached their office on 22nd June after returning from trip.

Even now after 15 days we have not received any explanation from Carnation mangement on our mail. Please go through attached document signed by tour members and acknowledged by Carnation team. Above incidents depict all miseries and nightmares we had to go becase we selected Carnation Travel Services Pvt. Ltd. I will request all users of Mouthshut and internet to go through this review and attachments in detail and never take services of this tour operator.
