I have been using Big Laundry services for a few months now, and I have run into a lot of problems over the period of the last 1 1/2 months.

I have been basically cheated by Big Laundry staff on multiple counts. The staff includes the area manager Manoj, logistics manager Geeta Segar, Pickup boy Shiva, Compensation Manager Daya and a few other staff who have been avoiding my phone calls and refusing to put me through the proper channel of dispute resolution.

Big Laundry staff promised me that they will handwash all my clothes, but have been machine washing them. I found this out in three ways - one of my garment's button was dislodged, one of my wife's dress has been completely coloured into blue(it was a white dress) and the managers(especially Geeta Segar) expressly admitted to me that they have been machine washed.

My last batch of clothes had been given to Big Laundry on 15 May 2019, with the express promise that the clothes will be returned by Saturday. My wife and I were leaving Chennai on Sunday and we had given some of the important clothes we needed for the travel. So we needed the clothes on Sat and your people promised to give me the clothes.

But on Saturday no one came, and I tried calling the whole day and only in the afternoon the area manager picked up. I asked about the clothes and he said the clothes were not ready. After I was very unhappy, he said he will call me back, and he called me back and said the clothes are ready, but there are no delivery boys. He will arrange for something and send me the clothes by evening.

I waited at home instead of going out to make preparations for the travel. No one came and there was no phone call. I started calling your delivery boy Shiva and finally, he called your GM, and the GM did not even speak to me though we were on a conference call. The logistics manager got involved and at around 8 pm I find out that the reason for the delay was one of my garments had been completely and irreversibly damaged.

For the whole day, no one had the courtesy to inform me of this, and the Big Laundry staff even lied to me that the clothes were ready.

The logistics manager and company cheated me in terms of delivering the clothes at night. Geeta Segar told me he will find some way to ensure the clothes reach me, or at least will cab them down, and I can collect them at my address before I left Chennai. He kept me waiting for 2-3 hours until 10-11 pm, and then he asked me to pay for the cab, and when I refused, he disappeared and we had to leave Chennai without the clothes.

Big Laundry admitted that they were at fault in all of the above, and promised compensation for my garment which is worth Rs 7000. But for the last 3 plus weeks, I have been calling the company so many times and no one has responded properly. And finally, Daya told me he is a compensation manager, that your company is at fault, and will reimburse me. But again he has started avoiding all my phone calls.

And today after calling him a few times, he messaged me saying he can only pay Rs 750 as compensation. And I have not even received my garment back yet.
