We visited bali in March 2018 for honeymoon.We stayed there for 8 nights. It was a self arranged tour. There are lots of lots of amazing things to speak regarding Bali, it has the most beautiful beaches, affordable villas, holly temples and friendly kind people, serene nusa penida island.
Accessibility for Bali Indonesia from India regular flights from all metro cities will reach in 8 to 10 hours journey via Malaysia.
Local sightseeing is plenty of things Tanah lot and Uluwhatu temple, beaches like Kuta beach, pandawa beach, ubud rice terraces, nusa penida island much more. Online packages are available or you can book through your hotel but that will be costly or you can book in bali itself where little tourist guide shops are there every where.
Hotels are very cheap. You will get 4 star and 5 star properties in range of 2k to 5k per night and private pool villas will cost from 6k to 10k. Kuta, ubud, Seminyak area is mostly preferred by all tourist.
Safety is no issue in bali, because mostly people follow Hindu religion and believe in nirvana. They will help you , guide you , friendly kind polite.
So my advice is to visit bali it's a unforgettable experience. And do visit Nusa penida island its heaven on earth. I am planning to visit again with my family next year.
