I had been to this place for lunch. This is an amazing place. Its one of a kind restaurant. Firstly I was impressed with the decor and the ambience. One would feel that one is really in some Dhaba or something.

I also noticed that the place was pretty well organised. It had tables outside for the general people and space inside for ladies who want to play kitties, etc.

There is an artificial well placed just when you enter the place. This adds to the ethnicity. The retaurant is itself bult on the terrace of Museum Inn in Church Street, Bangalore. The terrace is covered with thatch-like ceilings. It is covered on the sides with colourful shamiana(tents). There is a paan(Beetle leaf) shop too at one side just like in the original dhabas.

Well, for lunches you have a choice between the buffet and the menu from which you can order individual dishes. The menu is pretty good and the prices are very reasonable but you must go and try the buffet during lunchtime.

The buffet is absolutely mouth watering. The combination is just perfect. For non vegetarians, you can have Chicken Biryani, Fish fry and Mutton curry. For vegetarians, you have got a choice of four vegetarian dishes including dal( pulses). Besides this, you also have a wide selection of salads and you can also go for Papri Chaats and Dahi Bhallas. Rotis are served at your table. The rotis are also very well made, soft and chewable. The South Indian community also have their favourite curd rice. Otherwise, the cuisine is definitely North Indian along with a North Indian dessert like Gajar ka Halwa or Ras Malai, etc.

All these just for 150 plus rupees. I think its a good meal. The food is fantabulous and the crowd is good. Its a very popular restaurant in Bangalore.

The service is quite fast and the background music is pretty synchronized with the atmosphere. One feels quite at home. Yes its a comfortable feeling the Indian way....

I would recommend you try this restaurant when you are in Bangalore.Dont forget to order a glass of lassi. That would complete your North Indian meal. And of course if you like ''Paan'' you got to end it with that. :):)
