Alipore zoological garden is kolkata's oldest zoological place. Its very sad to see its condition now. Its established in the year 1876 definitely that time it was glory to the city but kolkata has been unable to restore the glory till today. When we were a child we bacame mad to visit alipore zoo but now nobody wants to visit for its dirty ness, awkward smell and unhygienic. If we enter We will not feel like that its a zoo. People totally made the place worst as they treat it like their dustbin. No cleanliness. Very few animals. Bengal tiger hardly can be seen and they look like sick. Other animals we can see very less. Aquarium is an attractions for children. Except Thursday all days are open from 9 to 5. Sunday it is more crowded. Nearby small shop of chats. Jhalmuri, fry foods available. For tourists they can stay nearby hotels. Alipore zoo we hope to see in better condition.
