Hello friends

Today I am going to review an Akai product i.e. Akai CT TV which was purchased by us long back. I have to say Akai was a superb company back in its days, I still remember it was the only company who had launched a TV and a CD player together in a single product. The CD player was mounted at the top of the television and it was a good product, but I it is hard to say now Akai has failed to keep up with the technological advance that communication industry is going through. The TV which was purchased by us in 2004 is not performing up to the mark. The video quality has degraded significantly and so is the sound quality. It is difficult even to see the images on the TV screen now a days. The sound has decreased to such an extant that you have to use external speakers to listen to the voice.

Moreover the amount of space it needs in the house is quite large, in a world where space is very limited that kind os space is not available in the house easily. So overall performance of Akai was good long ago but not in the current scenario. Hence not a value for money product.
