This is a relatively new story to the Hindi film audience. It is also very bold as it deals with subject of wife swapping.

Raj(Bobby Deol) and Priya(Kareena Kapoor) get married and go of to Switzerland where Raj lands a job of a polo coach. They develop an amiable relationship with a neighbour couple Vicky(Akshay Kumar) and Sonia(Bipasha Basu).

When their sexual electricity becomes to strong to resist Vicky suggests Raj about wife swapping. Raj has a good fight with Vicky on that subject, but Vicky brings the subject of wife swapping once again and here the director's (Abbas-Mustan) looses the control of the film.

On the other hand the music by Anu Malik is uplifting. As always there are two or three great numbers in his album. The cinematography by Rajan Kinagi is beautiful as he has shot some wonderful locations of Switzerland and Mauritius.

Among the actors Bobby Deol is sincere but is role is one - dimensional and he has no scope. Kareena Kapoor looks at ease but she also has a similar role to Bobby.Bipasha Basu makes smooth transaction from modelling to films. She excels in performance as well as sex appeal. But the real person to watch is Akshay Kumar. This guy has improved a lot during last few years. He nearly carries the film on his shoulders.

Sadly apart from the occasional thrills Ajnabee fails in its appeal to succeed.
