Many films like recently released 'Tiger Zinda Hai' have been made on such daring and impressing agents in Bollywood.
Director Neeraj Pandey has been a well co-ordinate director and his films are always expected of an X Factor. So far as a producer director he is right about his work but he looks a bit confused about Aiyaary. Aiyaary means a detective who specialise in changing the form.
The story of Aiyaary start with Col. Karan Abhay singh ( Manoj Bajpei) and Major Jai Bakshi ( Sidharth Malhotra) both of them work for the Indian army but things become such that Jai suddenly starts trying to disappear from Delhi. On the other hand Abhay who is also the master of Jai, is astonished and cannot understand why Jai is doing this so? Jai's love is Sonia ( Rakul Preet) in the story too! the story ends in Delhi moving back to Kashmir, London.
The weakest expect of Neeraj Pandey aiyaary is the script. In this 2 hour and 40 minute film, 2 hour and 25 minutes have been put on the Army's brokerage and its execution! The impact of this corruption on the country and the people of the country will be affected but it is shown in the climax. Neeraj Pandey has finished climax by talking about the corruption of a building! It would not be wrong to say that we are talking about kohinoor but the matter was taken up by a piece of glass! Neeraj Pandey has always given a better treatment in his all film , but this time his screenplay also appears in pieces.
Talking about acting surely Manoj Bajpai is completely enlighted in Aiyaary. However, I had great hopes from Sidharth Malhotra who have all the qualities of becoming a superstar but seeing this film I do not think that he take this movie very seriously? As a military detective his body lacks energy and dynamics. Adil Hussain character is not big but when he comes he add life to screen. Kumud Mishra is a strong actor and in this film also he recorded his strong presence. Pooja Chopra has played her character well whereas various artist such as Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah have been lost in the hole.
However the cinematography of the film is very good and has been thought out in a new way from many angles. While editing department remains a bit week long long scene need to be cut.
Overall Neeraj Pandey film Aiyaary which was expected to be a lot, did not come through on his expectation .It can be seen once like a common movie.
