I had made a booking with Agoda Booking ID 293813835 Check-in September 16, 2021, in Grand Central hotel al Rigga UAE.

At 8 pm, After reaching the hotel the reception denies the booking saying that we had stopped all booking confirmation from Agoda 3 days ago, No more booking is accepted. I called the Agoda customer representative after waiting for a call for 20 min on hold. After reaching the executive he says we apologize for the inconvenience caused we can give you a full replacement for the booking or an alternative booking. I specifically requested him to book me a hotel nearby as I had travelled already a long journey because I had a meeting at that hotel, so I requested him to book in the same location I am was In al Rigga so I don’t need to travel anymore. I requested them on call as well I need location in al Rigga location only.

After He made a booking 30 km away from the current location, I specifically mark a mail to him that I need a booking nearby location in al Rigga only I am not going to travel more .after that I told him on the same mail that I need to arrange it as early as possible .but this people confirmed the booking for me at Atana hotel which is 30 km away from my location without my confirmation and sending me a mail at 1 am in the night that the booking is confirmed even after I mark a mail to them around 11 pm that I don’t want the booking I need to proceed for refund. I paid 4 times more the money of the actual price of the booking and arranged a hotel by myself on the spot as no response from Agoda regarding the booking in al Rigga. It was night 12 am already.

They did booking by themselves without taking my confirmation on Atana hotel and the next day at 11 am they share me a mail that if you don’t go it will be a no-show and you will not get a refund also. I told them to tap the calls and check my records on call I had clearly requested them for al Rigga location, not for atana hotel in tecom.

I mailed them back why should I go to the hotel to stay for 3 hours.

Now they are continuously pushing me to accept that I said kindly arrange booking which actually was a response on the last mail that I need booking I al Rigga location but they can't see that before that I marked a mail and I made a call request also that I need a nearby location only

This Agoda agent did all rebooking without my confirmation and sending me a mail that the booking is confirmed and no refund will be given.

I told them clearly even after that I haven’t made any confirmation for Atana hotel please refer mails properly. They are purposely making it a no-show and don’t want to refund .this types of tricks played by the agents I have all mail communication if required I can share

I would suggest being aware of this type of fraudulent activity performed by the customer executives in Agoda they manipulate words by themselves and make rebooking by themselves.
