This is a review for the genuine APML, not a fake one(GCCHD192000178).

This review is'under moderation' by APML and will obviously never come up on their website.

So I am posting it here to share my terrible experience.

Used: Car Carrier service.

Had used APML twice before without any issues so had no apprehensions using it again to transport my vehicle from Chandigarh to Pune. But this time has been a nightmarish experience.

1.Starts with the driver in Chandigarh who came for the pick-up demanding money(‘tip’ as he put it) Not faced this before but I had to pay up obviously. Please do not entertain such requests. I made a mistake.

2.Delayed delivery in Pune(no explanation given).

3.Small dent on the bonnet of vehicle and scratch on right rear body panel(pointed out at delivery that this was not there at the time of handing over the vehicle and also not mentioned in their inventory(I also have pictures and video of the car at pick-up). This was not taken seriously / acknowledged. Have read enough reviews to know that APML gets out of paying any kind of damages using all possible loopholes(have also received an email from them to this effect) so I am not expecting anything. But does not mean that I will not try to claim.

4.All of this I can still understand and I will pursue to get compensation. What I could not understand was that after booking the vehicle in Chandigarh on 5th of May 2019 till the 13th May 2019 night the car was UNTRACEABLE as the online tracking was not working for my consignment number and call center operatives gave vague, unreliable and inconsistent answers.

a.They refused point blank to provide any senior supervisor’s number. Took my number at least 9 times saying they will arrange to call back. I did not receive even one call.

b.I Emailed Customer Service three times in one day. Received three computer-generated ticket ID's but no call/reply as to where my vehicle was.

This was something I found COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

As a result, I discussed my serious concerns with friends as it was a high-end expensive vehicle. I was at loss and not knowing whom to call and not knowing where my vehicle was. One who is a senior police official advised me to intimate the concerned local / Chandigarh authorities as there could be possibility of wrongful use of the vehicle in transit especially as it was passing through multiple states at the time of elections in the country. He kindly agreed to do this for me and all I could provide him were the contact numbers and names of the person who picked up my vehicle in Chandigarh and the person responsible for delivering it in Pune. That process will take its own course of action. I was also erroneously given the name and number of a person in charge of household goods delivery in Pune and not the car delivery section. This I found out later.

All in all, a very disappointing experience especially frustrating dealing with the call center operatives. Probably will never use this service again. Would have appreciated a little bit of consideration and transparency in APML dealings with customers, especially repeat customers.

To date, no one has called me re my complaints - which goes to show how seriously APML takes its Customer Service.
