1gb ram more than sufficient. 5mp rear cmra awsme.It is a excellent TAB / Smartphone with enhancements to ICS. But most of the hardware(except dual core) are same as that of P1000. Performance is better and navigation is smooth. ICS has made many new features which makes this tab a user friendly and lovable.
Good for kids for Playing Google play free games. and easy to read magazines / ebooks / PDF etc. Youtube videos are superb. You have educational videos for kids(CBSE/others, subject /standard wise). Image/video editor are fine. Google Voice search is nice. Can add a external keyboard which comes with pouch for Rs.600 in ebay to give rest to your wrist. USB OTG Host required(Rs500). Battery life is good. Camera - no HD recording, but can playback HD.
With VLC player can play any video format. HDIMI/ TV out cables can be added. Samsung/Android apps/browsers/social media tools/office docs make this good for professional use too. Can keep the phone near to ears, unlike speaker mode of P1000. Blue tooth/Wifi works good. Cheaper Chinese Tabs are available from 5K with same specs, but nothing can beat this user experience.
