How to reach
By Air: Nearest International Airport from Patiala is Chandigarh Airport, roughly two hour drive from Patiala. It is well connected to the major cities like Amritsar, New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Goa, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Leh via Air Mantra, Air India, Jagson Airlines, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines.
By Rail: The town has its own Railway Station named as Patiala Railway Station. It is well connected to major cities like Ambala, Amritsar, Barmer, Bathinda, Delhi, Haridwar and Kalka via Sgnr Intercity, Asr Dr Express, Bme HW Link Express, Hw Bme Link Express, Sgnr HW Express and UA Toofan Express.
By Road: It is 14 Kms from Kalwa, 24 Kms from Dittupur, 28 Kms from Kharorha, 50 Kms from Ambala, 63 Kms from Chandigarh, 96 Kms from Ludhiana, 156 Kms from Jalandhar, 177 Kms from Kapurthala, 236 Kms from Amritsar and 269 Kms from Pathankot etc. Patiala is well connected with the above cities through Punjab State Road Transport Corporation (PSRTC) and some private travel services.
