Jayanagar maiyas is good. Maiyas coffee is the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. meals is tasty but triple rate of normal compared to any darshini rates . What a non sense can anybody pay so high price for a normal meal. He is just fooling us with brand name.

Too much of Hype

Visited Maiya's for a Sunday afternoon lunch with family and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The food served here is an authentic South Indian food and loved the unlimited poori's that were served with 3 varieties of sbazi. Then came the Bisibelebath with lots of ghee and the mouth wa...Read More

Following MTR style, Maiyyas has this unlimited eat all you can meal on one of its floors. Unlike MTR, this is more expensive and unlike MTR again, the food doesn't taste so great. The service is also quite bad with the waiters rushing you through the meal and waiting to throw you out. It doesn'...Read More

We had heard a lot about this restaurant from a friend and decided to try the food at this place. There was an option of Gujarati thali, we decided to opt for it. Sadly the food served wasn’t authentic Gujarati that we hoped for. There was no dal served, we were hoping for some sweet Gujrati dal...Read More

For me going out on lunch on office expenses means a minimum three star expensive restaurant and compulsory non-veg food. When I was told that we are going to some south Indian vegetarian restaurant in middle of Jayanagar, mood was off, and wasn't really excited about the lunch out. Once I re...Read More

We actually went for the Silver Thali Meal. But ended up having normal meals due to the cranky guy at the ground floor elevator who convinently misguided us to wrong floor. So we ended up having a normal meal (anyway now reserved the silver thali experience to be tried out another time..)The...Read More

I had heard a lot about Mavalli Tiffin Rooms from friends and through innumerable food shows. Could never make time for MTR. However I visited Mayyas in Jayanagar 4th Block when in Bangalore.
