How to reach
By Air: Peelamedu Airport, is situated at a distance of 10 km from the heart of the city and offers the best answer to the question how to reach Coimbatore. You can easily getflights to Coimbatore from other metro cities. For international travelers, Chennai and Karipur Airports are the nearest and connect Coimbatore to various important countries of the world.
By Rail: Visitors coming by train can get down at the Coimbatore junction which is a main point of connection between major cities of the country. It connects to all the major rail heads of India and hence visitors coming from different parts of the country do not find any difficulty to reach this city.
By Road: State Road Transport Corporation of Tamil Nadu and Kerala operate numerous bus services from Coimbatore that connect it to several cities of the state. Super deluxe/deluxe buses, Volvo buses and many other luxurious buses frequently ply to Trivandrum (387 km), Cochin (190 km), Chennai (506 km) etc.
